Entrepreneur and Explorer, after more than 20 years in the technology sector in Europe and North America, Charles sold his company CREAFORM to found VILLAGE MONDE. In the course of his travels and adventures around the world, Charles Mony has always been attracted to the development of remote areas.
Charles Mony, President and Founder of Village Monde is directly involved in the inception, management, and growth of VILLAGE MONDE.
Isabelle Vitte, Director and Founder
Isabelle Vitte, with 20 years of project-management experience in the bio-medical sector, shares this same thirst for exploration and development of new projects. Isabelle Vitte plans to become directly involved in bringing to life and coordinating the Friends of VILLAGE MONDE network, project management, and events as part of the VILLAGE MONDE mission.
Francois Duchesneau, Director
Partner at the law firm, Norton Rose Fulbright, Francois Duchesneau specializes in Business Law. He is dedicated to supporting and organizing new and growing companies. With over 20 years of experience, Francois contributes strong management capabilities and a vision of international development.
André Couture, Director
After a long career with many well-known technological companies, André Couture, a senior consultant in business development, is involved in a number of corporate development projects between North America and Europe. He is also very involved in the charitable sector and a member on several boards of directors as INRS, Oxy’nov, Techmed and Fondation INRS.
Jean-Sébastien Noël, Director
With 15 years of experience in marketing, communication, and the Web, Jean-Sébastien Noël became a recognized player in the new social economy sector in 2012, with the founding of La Ruche, a platform for social financing and crowdfunding. Jean-Sébastien Noël is also very involved in his community and serves on several boards and events. Sustainable development and social and environmental awareness are also at the heart of his concerns.
Clément Guimond, Director
Clément Guimond has been involved in the solidarity economy and its development for many years. He participated in all stages of the construction of the Desjardins Caisse d’économie solidaire, where he coordinated a team of 80 employees for many years. Very engaged, Clement Guimond participates in different committees and is a member of several boards. On the board, Clement Guimond will bring his extensive experience of cooperative networks, associations, communities, and inclusive development.
